The clubhouse Gummenmattli, Wiesenberg-Wirzweli offers sleeping accommodation for around 50 persons, making it ideal for club outings, school camps and family holidays. It includes a barbecue spot in the garden, a playground, an outdoor seating area, car parking and direct access to the house (summer).
Named after honorary member Sepp Gander, the Gummenmattli opened on 9 November 1947 and was the pride of the club. It ceased operations on 11 June 2006 in preparation for the erection of a new building on the foundation walls. After a year or so of building work, the grand reopening celebration took place on 22 September 2007. Various refurbishments took place on the ground floor between 2014 and 2016: windows were replaced, a new anti-slip floor was laid and the walls and ceilings were fitted with sound insulation and LED lighting. At the end of 2016, the clubhouse was festively inaugurated with a big volunteers’ meal. Since then, the Stans ski clubhouse has looked great.
