From 18 October to 14 November 2021, the Lucerne-Lucerne Allmend/Messe railway line will be closed due to expansion work. Rail replacement buses will operate.
The apartment is ideal for a stay of one or two persons and is a retreat to relax and recover in the middle of nature. The view of Lake Lucerne, surrounded by the Rigi, Pilatus and Bürgenstock is impressive, inviting you to linger or even take a boat trip or hiking tour. In the summer months you can enjoy the pleasant evening sun on your balcony.
The local recreation area with private surroundings offers numerous possibilities for excursions by boat, car or on foot. Kehrsiten is a place with charm and almost unique in its location. During a walk in the village, there is the opportunity for good food in one of the restaurants or hotels. The bathing possibilities in Lake Lucerne Region offer something for every taste.

There are no shopping facilities in Kehrsiten. The next possible shopping facilities can be reached by car within 10 minutes. If you would like to eat in the apartment, you should do some shopping before or with your arrival.
The maximum speed on the Kehrsitenstrasse is 30 km/h on the whole road (approx. 3.3 km to the apartment). Slow traffic is to be expected (pedestrians, rollerbladers, bicycles). Slow, considerate and forward-looking driving is indicated. In case of oncoming traffic, use the passing space.
From 1 May to 30 September, Kehrsitenstrasse from Harissenbucht is closed for all motor vehicle traffic on Sundays and general holidays from 02:00 p.m. - 07:00 p.m. (except for emergencies).
During the period from October 1 to April 30, residents of Kehrsiten have unrestricted access. Guests, craftsmen and other vehicles require an exemption permit from the police, which is issued by telephone.
Important information for the journey with the public boat connections:
Kehrsiten has two boat stations: Kehrsiten - village and Kehrsiten - Bürgenstock, the latter with a 365 day 07 - 24 hour connection to Lucerne. On foot the way uphill (from both boat stations) it takes about 15 minutes to the accommodation. It is possible to take a taxi shuttle to the apartment (costs Fr. 20.-).
