HOSPITALITY WITH HEART

Alp Laucheren is not a pub and has no official overnight accommodation like a real mountain hut. But almost always there is the day through a fine coffee and passing hikers are welcome for a rest and a short chat.

Hospitality is very important to the Niederberger family, who have owned the alp for 4 generations. So it was also possible that from the summer of 2021 bivouacs can be made on the alp Laucheren and spend the night halfway along the ridge hike. For a delicious dinner and a traditional breakfast is also provided - the unforgettable sunset and sunrise are free of charge on top. With the ridge walk Stanserhorn-Engelberg and this stopover, a small modern adventure awaits you, a short break from everyday life and an absolute highlight of this year's mountain summer!
