A shorter hike from Brändlen to Haldigrat. Thanks to the small cable cars from Wolfenschiessen to Brändlen and from Haldigrat with the chairlift to Alpboden near Niederrickenbach, this is a very enjoyable pre-alpine tour.
From Wolfenschiessen we take the small cable car to Berghof Brändlen of Family Schmitter. After two hours of ascent, an impressive mountain panorama awaits you at Gigichrüz. You can see from Säntis to Mythen and Pilatus. The view also extends to the Canton Jura. On the Haldigrat - once a winter sports area with ski lift - we sit down on the terrace and order a small lunch. The "descent" with Kurt's chairlift is comfortable. The marching time calculation and height differences consider the use of the cable cars.
