After a short ride on the Dallenwil - Niederrickenbach aerial cableway we arrive at our starting point for the hike. In Maria-Rickenbach we first walk along the road to the reservoir barbecue and picnic spot. We go up bit by bit through the forest to the Bleiki alp dairy. The steepest part of the hike follows afte the Bleikigrat. Your effort is rewarded with a sensational 360 degree panorama of Lake Lucerne, Klewenalp, Brisen, the Stanserhorn and other lovely places. We return via the Bleikigrat to the Musenalp. A visit to the Musenalp with its own alpine cheese dairy and restaurant is recommended. If you want to save your knees, take the Musenalp and Dallenwil-Niederrickenbach aerial cableways down to the valley.
If you book ahead, you can look around the Bleiki alp dairy and watch cheese being made.
