This hiking tour is suitable for buggies and especially for families with little children. The route follows car-free small roads with natural surfaces.
Klewenalp can be reached by cable car from Beckenried. Then it goes past the chapel towards "Röthen" and "Tannibüel". In the Klewenalp area there are several pretty mountain restaurants (e.g. Bergrestaurant Alpstubli)! Via Ängiloch you reach the Emmetten side and "Stockhütte", from where the cable car takes you to the village of Emmetten. Worth mentioning are for example on the flower path around the "Klewenstock", as well as (not for buggies) up to the viewpoint "Heitliberg" or in front of the gondola quickly up to the "Schattigenstock". From Emmetten we take the post bus back to Beckenried or we take the post bus to Seelisberg. There we take the funicular to Treib. From Treib we take the ship back to Beckenried, where we enjoy a well-deserved ice cream in the Hotel-Restaurant Rössli.
