The Steintäli belongs to the BIG 5 of Engelberg and thanks to its location you can still find powder snow days after the snowfall.

The descents around the "Steintäli" from the mountain station of the Jochstock-Express partly lead to the Engstlensee. Traversed or ascended west, in the direction of Wendenlücke, the freerider will also find a few days after the snowfall a little more unspoilt terrain.

For a carefree day in the powder snow, we recommend you have trained mountain guides and ski instructors who will accompany you safely through the terrain. Inform yourself in advance about the current avalanche and weather conditions.
