See the day out in comfort with a chilled drink and a warm fire. You can get to the Bürgenstock Resort via the convenient shuttle boat from Lucerne followed by the funicular railway. Or take the Zentralbahn train to Stansstad and then the bus.
Right by Lake Alpnach on Stansstad’s Seerosenweg. The sun’s rays at sundown are particularly striking due to the high Pilatus massif. Lake Alpnach is a popular fishing and wakeboarding destination. People fishing on the lake make great photo opportunities.
Cruise into the sunset as you enjoy a good meal. The two-and-a-half-hour gastro cruise takes place on the new motor vessel MS Diamant or a paddle steamer. Don’t forget to go out on deck to catch the last rays of the sun before it disappears behind the horizon. The Stanserhorn isn’t the only vantage point offering views of the Pilatus, Lake Alpnach and the Sarneraa valley. You should give the Ober Stöckmatt on the Bürgenberg a try.
