The Furgelen is situated at 1200 metres above sea level, directly above Isenthal with a fantastic view of Lake Lucerne.
The glass igloo can only be reached on foot or conveniently by cable car. There is no public road.
The cable car station is located just above the "Isenthal, Weid-Furggelen" post bus stop. If you wish to travel by cable car, please arrange with the Bissig family the evening before your arrival what time you wish to use the cable car. As the cable car is privately operated, the service must be arranged in advance.
There is also a free car park at the Postbus stop. From the Postbus stop, the glass igloo can be reached via two different hiking trails. We recommend choosing the wonderful "Urner Mundartweg" for the journey there and back.

Dinner: You are welcome to enjoy a fine fondue basket in the Glasiglu on advance booking. The fondue basket includes a fine Uri cheese fondue, bread and a pot of hot "Uri herbal tea". Price for 2 people: CHF 49.-
All the necessary crockery is of course provided.
Breakfast (only on pre-order): A fine breakfast basket can be pre-ordered before departure and then enjoyed directly at the Glasiglu. The basket includes: Bread, jam, cold cuts, cheese and coffee or tea. Price for 2 persons: CHF 30.-
Rosé Prosecco: To celebrate the tough climb up the Uri dialect trail, you can serve a cool bottle of Rosé Prosecco directly in the hot tub. The bottle of Prosecco is available to order in advance. Price per bottle (0.75l): CHF 40.00
White wine from Uri: You can order a bottle of white wine from Uri to go with your fondue. Price per bottle (0.5l): CHF 33.00

The bubble can be booked from Monday to Saturday. Unfortunately, overnight stays are not possible from Sunday to Monday (day off)

Bring:
- Pocket or head torch!
- We recommend clothing suitable for the weather and good footwear, rain jacket and umbrella if necessary, toothbrush, small pharmacy for personal needs
- In cold temperatures, we also recommend a headband or hat and warm socks for sleeping
