Fahrmattli cheese dairy

The Fahrmattli cheese dairy in Oberdorf has existed for 200 years. The old dairy used to stand where the shop is today. During renovation work in 1999, the site where the cheese was once produced was uncovered. In one corner, a vault was found where the "Chäschessi" could be turned over the fireplace. During the remodelling, the old state, including the fireplace, was reconstructed and integrated into the attractive shop as a decorative element.
