The aerial cableway runs from Gossalp to Oberalp and back.
Far back in Isenthal, a public aerial cableway runs from Gossalp to Oberalp. This Niederberger Schiffli serves 8 different farms during the alpine summer. This very special cable car has had a licence for passenger transport since its renovation in 1974.
This cable car is very remote. From the bus terminus in Isenthal, it takes about 2 hours and almost 500 metres in altitude to walk up to the valley station.
Neither the valley station nor the mountain station have mobile phone reception.
