The Gummenalp is idyllically situated at 1,579 meters above sea level above Dallenwil and is a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers and those seeking relaxation. Nestled in the magnificent Alpine landscape, Gummenalp offers a breathtaking panorama of the mountains of Central Switzerland - from the Stanserhorn to the Titlis. Gummenalp is easily accessible by cable car from Dallenwil-Wirzweli-Gummenalp and is an ideal starting point for a variety of hikes. he Wirzweli-Gummenalp-Wirzweli panoramic circular trail, which leads over the Wirzweli-Horn (1,471 m) and the Wirzweli ridge to Gummenalp (1,579 m), is particularly popular. From there, the trail leads across lush alpine meadows to the lower Rhone, Dürrenboden and Alp Langboden (1,304 m) before returning to the Wirzweli mountain station via the Dominique trail. The entire route takes around 3 hours and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Directions & Parking facilities
Gummenalp can be reached from Dallenwil by cable car to Wirzweli. From there, you can either take the Eggwald - Gummenalp aerial cableway directly to Gummenalp or follow the hiking trail, which takes about an hour.
