The Rütenen bathing area is a publicly accessible bathing meadow in Beckenried on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The place is known for its beautiful sunsets.
A popular bathing area on the shores of Lake Lucerne, with marvellous sunsets. Reachable by bike from Beckenried in 10 minutes, around 3 km. Car parks, Nextbike station, fire pits and seating available.

The Rütenenbeizli summer pub is open from April to October (depending on the weather). It offers simple self-service dishes.

The Rütenen is also well-known among divers. Underwater, there are numerous interesting rock faces, sunken statues and a diving bell to marvel at.

Access by public transport:
Bus to Beckenried Boden stop, then approx. 30 min. walk along Rütenenstrasse to the bathing area.

By car:
Motorway exit Beckenried-Emmetten (southern Beckenried exit). Follow the Rütenenstrasse along the lakeshore.
There are paid car parks on the lakeshore at Rütenen.
