Observe the multifaceted animal world with its 200 farm animals, learn how cheese is made and immerse yourself in the life of yesteryear.

A walk through the centuries

An engaging journey through the past with more than 100 historic buildings from all over Switzerland. Watch the blacksmith at work in the forge and explore the animal life. Enjoy a barbecue, relax in the flower and scent gardens or travel through history during a carriage ride. If food is your thing, you can visit the in-house "Chocolaterie du Ballenberg", have a meal in a comfy restaurant or take home something "homemade" as a souvenir. The variety of Ballenberg – a unique experience!

Places for children and families

A great playground and the Ballenberg carousel provide action-packed entertainment for mini museum researchers.
