The Felsenweg was built between 1900 and 1905 and leads high above Lake Lucerne from Bürgenstock Resort to the Känzeli view point. It is accessible during the summer months from about May to October. The dates of opening in spring and closing in autumn are communicated on www.felsenweg.ch.

The Hammetschwand Lift is also a special building. In one minute, the highest outdoor lift in Europe (152.8 m) leads from the Felsenweg to the Hammetschwand. At the top you can expect a fantastic view, a mountain restaurant and a picnic area. The lift runs during the summer months and is closed in winter and reopened in spring at the same time as the Felsenweg.
