1. Choose one of the many winter experiences in Nidwalden. Take a picture of the winter landscapes during your trip. 

2. On the way or back home fill out the online form and upload your best winter photo from the Nidwalden region.

Good to know

Condition of participation & Copyright

The participant confirms that he/she is uploading a current photo from the winter 2020/21. The participant guarantees that he/she has taken the photo himself/herself and that he/she alone holds all rights to the photo. The participant guarantees not to upload any pictures that violate the applicable legal provisions and socially accepted standards of conduct (in particular, no offensive, hurtful, sexist or racist pictures).

The 10 best photos per week will win a great prize. All persons with residence in Switzerland are eligible to participate. Several photos can be sent in. A maximum of one gift will be sent per participant. The gift will be sent within Switzerland (while stocks last).

There will be no correspondence. Legal action is excluded. No cash payment. The participants' data will be treated confidentially. They may be used for marketing purposes by the Nidwalden Tourism and its partners. Employees of the tourism organisation Nidwalden Tourism are excluded from the competition.

The upload of images to the described competition includes the assurance of the participants that they are the sole authors of the submitted motifs, that they freely dispose of these motifs and the existing rights of use, and that the images are free of third-party rights. Participants are also responsible for ensuring that the persons depicted and/or the holders of rights to depicted objects have given their consent to the publication and exploitation of the images in a verifiable form and that any necessary official permits have been obtained. Participants are liable for all damages incurred by Nidwalden Tourism due to the absence of copyrights, the required consent of other persons or the absence of official permission.

Safety at the mountains

Skiing off-piste is at your own risk. With good preparation, the right equipment and knowing your own limits, your off-piste winter excursion will be a pleasure.
