In the highest ski resort in the region, the ski season lasts from October to May, which is the longest winter season in Switzerland. Record-breaking is also the 12 km long descent from the glacier to the village with more than 2,000 meters of altitude, which is thus one of the longest ten in the world.
One of Central Switzerland’s largest winter sports resort boasts 82 km of runs, 42 km of cross-country ski trails and three sledge runs. What is more, Engelberg is surrounded by countless peaks waiting to be climbed – your reward: skiing back down in deep powder snow. The eight-seater gondola cars and TITLIS Rotair cableway take you to the TITLIS Cliff Walk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge.
