Experience the Alps in a special way in the alpine hut at 1694 metres above sea level.
The Biwaldalp extends over a grazing area at 1500 metres above sea level to 2000 metres above sea level.
Located below the Sassigrat, you have a fantastic view of the Schwalmis, Chaiserstuhl and Engelberger Rotstock from the alpine farm.

Eat, drink and sleep

The alpine farm offers simple meals with what the alp has to offer and overnight accommodation. The family wants to bring alpine products closer to their guests and puts a lot of passion into their work, for example in the authentic alpine cheese dairy. Here, the milk is processed into alpine and speciality cheeses, yoghurt, whey and butter. A real treat, whether you enjoy the cheese at home or on the alp.

Openings

As the pubs are only open during the alpine season, the opening hours of the establishments vary. At the beginning and end of the summer, some establishments are only open at weekends. To make sure that the alpine inn is open, it is recommended that you call before you visit.
